Verity Uma
Verity is 15yrs old and has been recording voice work for the BBC and independent broadcasts since she could talk. Born in the North East, her natural Northern accent can be thickened up to strong Geordie or diluted to a neutral British to RP.
Capable of a good American Neutral accent or deep southern drawl.
With a good understanding of the recording environment, Verity has a top quality home studio or can travel to any destination for sessions. Professional at receiving and perfecting direction, able to collaborate and achieve the desired performance, Verity has a mature work ethic and likes to get things right.
Often cast as the sad, emotional child who can create a true connection to the audience, Verity has a great talent for delivering real heart felt performances as well as a real - unpretentious girl next door believability.
Other talents include being a top 5 UK Ballroom and Latin Dancer who can perform Ballet and Tap. Learns and creates choreography particularly fast and enjoys Boxing too.
Verity hopes to learn weapons combat and all that’s needed for work in Mocap & Pcap in the future and at present works hard at her creature sound creation and FXs - at least we think that’s what she’s up to in the booth!
