Experience & Training:
Jami is a member of the Shapes in Motion Mocap Troupe, has trained with the Mocap Vaults and worked with The Mocap Studio.
He is strong on quadrupedal work and has a mercurial physicality and voice perfectly suited to performance capture.
Jami trained as an actor at Glasgow Actors Lab before further training in physical theatre, circus,
puppetry, dance, mime and combat with
the likes of Archaos, Frantic Assembly, Punchdrunk, Royal Shakespeare
Company and also at the National Circus Schools of France and the
UK.
He is an avid physical mimic and has extensive creature and skin work
experience (Doctor Who, Red Dwarf, Zapped)
Jami is often singled out for his fusion of dance styles.
His understanding of stage and screen combat and contact dance gives him a great edge with hand to hand combat.
As a talented aerialist, he is very comfortable at height and with
great control can bring to life different ideas , wether it is martial art wire work or a more magical effect
such as walking on air, floating or flying at great speed.
Jami is also known for his vocal character versatility and musical abilities and his movement
direction on screen and stage for such names as Sir Trevor Nunn and Lewis Hamilton.
A strong all round performer, Jami brings a vibrant, creative and positive energy to every project.
